The Diversity & Inclusion Code is a code of conduct developed by, for and with the Dutch cultural and creative sector. The Code helps organisations work systematically on diversity, inclusion, equity and accessibility and provides the foundation for our tools and training programmes.
The Code consists of five steps and is a self-regulation tool. Its aim is for the cultural and creative sector to reflect the full diversity of Dutch society. A fundamental requirement is that the sector is equally accessible to everyone: as creators, producers, professionals and audiences. This way, the sector can truly belong to everyone.
